I installed a ram drive yesterday on my computer.

32mb and I have IE store tempinet files thier and I have noticed an increse in page loading times. And the nice thing about it is my tempinet fies are cleared when I shutdown my computer.

What I want to know is if I start to run out of ram and a pagefile is created will it start storing my tempinet files on the hdd or will it stay in ram no matter what?

It's gonna store 'em in the location you tell it to. You can only store a max of 32MB 'cause that's all the larger the location is.

But will the newest over-write the older ones?

Exactly, if you stayed on long enough that you got upto 32MB's, it would start throwing out the oldest to make room for the newest. Well, in a perfect world anyway.

. . . or if you pull the RAM out while it's running . . .

If anybody tries it, I'll e-mail them $1.

at least that's what I think should happen to those who try that suggestion (if not more than that)

I say we all hit CTRL+ALT+DEL at the same time and see if we can reboot the internet.
