Systems Drive letter rename
How do I change the letter designation on my dvd drive? I have a sony VAIO with windows ME.

Welcome to TechIMO!!

Right click My Computer > Device Manager > select and expand the DVD category > right click your DVD drive and select Properties > select Settings.

Under reserved drive settings select the Start Drive Letter drop down menu and pick the drive letter you want.

Out of curiousity, why are we wanting to change the drive letter?
