need some unc naming help please

Lets say I have a pc named "lanbox"....on it is a shared folder named "backup" inside that folder is a folder named "account"...inside the account folder is a text file named "test.txt"

Ok, I already have used the "net use" to map the "lanbox" comp to the comp I am on.

And I have already did the unc naming path in explorer and I can browse right to the folder and text file there..so I have good connectivity etc.

But how do I do it with unc naming conventions....(as in a batch file in the future etc)

say I want to read the text file in dos, how do I do it from this other comp that I am on??

aahhh, I think I figured it out....now I wish Id named the stuff with shorter names, lol...hafta use some ~ in there cuz of 8.3
