I just saw this Motherboard at a local computer store just now.
After having to discuss a whole lot with so many people, I've finally decided that I'm going to get the Asus P4P800S, even though this means that I will be going to a Pentium 4 Processor with Hyper Threading Architecture. The reason why I had to think about an Intel Motherboard with an Intel Processor was to address some scary heat issues I've been experiencing even since the AMD Processor. This is what I'm gonna replace for sure:
* Replacing Asus A7M266 with the Asus P4P800S
* Replacing the AMD Athlon XP 2000+ Palomino with the Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz 800FSB Processor with HT Technology
* Possibly having to increase wattage to 400Watts
* Replacing 2-256MB PC2100 DIMMs to 2-512MB PC3200 DIMMs.
These are the only "things" I intend to keep:
* nVidia GeForce4 Ti4600 4xAGP
* Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Original
* Western Digital 74.4GB Parrallel UDMA100 Hard Disk Drive
* 48x12x48 CD-RW and a 16x DVD-ROM Drive
* 2 Floppy Disk Drives
I can pretty much say goodbye to my Adaptec USB Expansion Card and 3Com Ethernet NIC Card since I'm gonna have 8 USB 2.0 Ports all over the place and that I'm gonna be using the On-Board LAN instead.
