Sound Erro :(

ok i am using windows 2000 and i the motherboard is an Intel810. that is all the info i can figure out, tried looking at it phisically and also tried some sofware utilitys but nothin works :/ oh well here is the error it gives me. i cant fidn a driver anywhere for this mobo.

Try downloading and using AIDA32. Under motherboard information it should tell you the motherboard manufacture and exact chipset used. Then go to the Intel Desktop Boards page and click on "Intel® 810 chipset family-based boards" to select the chipset your board is using to download the correct audio drivers.

Nope i dont think this motherboard supports how these programs get thier info. here is the info anyhow. anyone else gota suggestion?

If AR's driver doesn't help ................

In device manager you might want to check your soundcard driver. I'm assuming there is a yellow exclamation point next to it.

Right click properties > driver > update driver and see if 2K finds another driver.

May want to pop in your 2K CD and see if it can pull one off of there.
