Get Rid of Icon

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this "broken" connection icon. My internet works and I just wanted to remove it.

Is this on the desktop or in the taskbar?

That's the taskbar. What do you get when you right click on it?

"Open Network Connections" in bold. And when I out my mouse over it it says "Local Area Connection 2" and then below that "A network cable is unplugged."

If you don't use that LAN port, then just go into your Network Connections (Right-Click My Network Places > Properties) and disable that "Local Area Connection 2" remember that if you want to be able to use that LAN port, simply just Enable it.
