install win XP to Sata Raid setup wont work

Hi, My first post, sorry I a miss anything.

I have a brand new system bought from CybertronPC with no OS( I thought I could do it pretty easily, little did I know)
The system is
AMD 3000+ on a ASUS A7V600 Mobo with 1Gb PC3200
the drives Are Serial ATA Seagate 120 GB 7200 8MB X2 of course
With a DVD RW Toshiba(I think it was Toshiba) and a FX5200 128MB Gforce4 Graphics board oh and an EnVision LCD 19" EN9110 Model.

The problem is this; when I start the install of Win XP Pro it runs great for the start I hit F6 and run the floppy drivers for SCSI and then it formats the partition of the drive and begins loading.
It puts up a message saying this portion of the install is successful and then reboots to finish the win install, but after it reboots the POST screen still shows the drives not there. I tried setting them up as IDE and getting them recognized that way and they work fine. I tried getting in touch with Cybertrons Tech support but they even made me feel like a IT Professional compared to them. This is my first RAID setup so I may be missing something altogether.

Did you run set up to switch to boot from SATA?

according to cybertron's tech support it is already setup for sata boot
and the boot sequence in the win XP setup shows the load for the drives and it formats and install the first protion so I was assuming that it recognized the drives on the sata boot.

I really dont know how to check otherwise. except in the BIOS but everything looked normal to me there.

i just rechacked the BIOS Setup BOOT sector and the sequence goes like this
Optical drive(dvdrw)
Floppy drive
other(the other device listed is INT18 device (network)
I tried changing it to SCSI ATA onboard device and it still would not install XP.

My abit board flashes the SATA screen after the IDE screen. I then have to press F4 to get into the SATA BIOS to set up the raid set before I install windows. the only settings in the main bios is enabling it under onboard PCI devices and being set to
HD 0 in the boot sequence. I think windows can install on the drives even if they are not set as a boot device.

My guess is it is still not enabled, it should still show up as a drive in the boot sequence even if you didn't set up the raid set in the SATA BIOS

After your last post I checked the ide settings and it was still enabled so i disabled the IDE Boot and let the ATA take over and voila, it is loading as I typed this. Thank you for the help, even if they were just ideas, It helps more often than not to get new ideas on where to look from a fresh perspective.
