Kazaa Lite: Why 'more source needed'?

I want to know why it says 'more source needed'? Is it because interference (interuption) or is it because the one we like to download has turn off his peer.

Sometimes it would just kept on searching and once it is connecting, it goes back to more source needed again.

usually the users it has seaerched through do not have it (ie. the ones that do are offline) or the user you tried to dl from already has the max number of users uploading. just gotta be patient

It doesnt matter really, i mean i dont sit and wait till it finish downloading. i just leave the computer and just do my own stuff daily.
say if the file is about 400-600mb, then i'll just leave my computer on for days, approx.1-2 days till it finish...IF it finish
At this moment now, im still on Kazaa with 20 downloads. only one downloading, the rest need more source.

so if they offline like turn off their pc, i cant download then eh? I see. Of course right. Hmm..Thanks

One more, why I cant send a message to people while at downloading? A message comes up saying that he may be offline or using the older version of kazaa. Mine is 2.4.3 kazaa lite.

That's why Kaaza sucks. Use BitTorrent or mIRC if you want to share files.

does it ability works like kazaa? hows the program..? Is it like, i have to turn on my Mirc and then I can use the BitTorrent program?

Well a lot of people click on block imcoming messeges I would imagine. It's not a very important feature really.
Some people you can others you cant However keep a good virus scanner and trojan scanner running and keep scanning when downloading anything from kazaa.

If thats the case, then everyone rejecting all messages..! Normally, i was only asking "do u have anymore of these" or "how is this file like"..stuff like that. If anybody send me a message, i will always feel free to answer. Well thats me
I have my virus scanning. The other day, I got a virus called loveletter. But it cant be repaired and now it is been quarantined. I cant delete the file too. Scary

I have been a regular user of diet kazaa and kazaa Lite for years. It is my understanding that the "more sources needed" is generally caused by two different things. The main thing is some one who only uses their computer once or twice a week, but has a file in their shared folder. The folder is listed, but you cannot connect to download.

I have left my system on for a week before finally connecting and downloading.

The other is some will check your profile to see if you are sharing, if they see you dowloading a file from their folder, and if not will disconnect your download. I always keep a few "trade approved" files in my shared folder for others to download.

Also important to run Ad-aware (a freeware program) every so often, to keep your machine clean of spyware associated with these file sharing programs.

I have put 'correct' or 'tick!' for sharing. I dont have any files to share actually since when everytime I finish download, it will go straight to my pen drive and will loaded it into my PC at home
But sometimes I can download and in the middle it dc.
