I have overclocking my friends computer at BIOS setup, by knowing the correct speed of the processor. I adjust that and put it correctly. Overclocking is at BIOS setup where you press the 'delete' or 'F2' button when you start ur PC.

Well can you provide a little more info for those of us who aren't mind readers?
What make and model of the motherboard do you have and is the cpu actually 2.4ghz or are you trying to over clock.

so it says you have a 1.4ghz cpu but you have a 2.4ghz cpu. It will be in your bios when I upgraded my bios version is read the wrong cpu speed I had to chang it in the bios. I cant remember whet section it is under but you can probaly guess what it is in your bios.

Your computer needs to overclocking and to do that, you have to be at BIOS setup. You have to know how fast (speed) is ur processor and correct it at ur BIOS. It will be easy.
