Talk please help me pick out the ram

i have a ic7-g abit motherboard and i want some corsair ram one stick of 512mb with heatspreader can you guys pick me one out thanks and my cpu is 2.6cghz at 800 mhz cant be over 100.00

Looks like you can use PC3200-would go with two sticks of 256mb to utilize dual-channel since your motherboard supports it.

You'd be better off to get something cheaper and faster, like Kingston HyperX. But 512 of decent RAM for under $100 is pushing it.

Corsair 512MB with heatspreader for $100 or less? Good luck.

I would get these for your mobo, though: Corsair TWINX512-3200LL for $136. It comes with heatspreaders, plus you get two sticks so you can run in dual-channel mode.

That's the fastest Crucial chip you'll get for under $100.

However, this Kingston chip is faster and cheaper, and highly rated.
