hard drive probs...

i have 2 hard drives... one is a 16 gig... and the other a 10... how do I make it so both of them can be run on my computer?

Do they each have an operating system, or are you planning to use one for O/S and the other for storage?

What kind of computer do you have?

The typical setup is to set the jumpers on the Hard Drive so that one is set to "Master" and the other is set to "Slave". On the hard drive itself, it should tell you how to do this. Then connect the hard drives to the same IDE cable and connect them to IDE-0 or 1 on your motherboard.

Do you already have a third hard drive in your computer? Do you have a CD-ROM drive?

yup I wanted to use one for O/S... and the other as storage...

I have a P2 450....

I also do have a CD-Rom....

I'll try what you guys said...

Master the OS drive and Slave the storage drive and you should be good to go.
