A Better Life Without Internet

Well, I haven't had a connection at home now for over a month. It kind of played havok on me in the way of some work, but I've worked around that no prob.

Man, do I NOT miss it. Had I had a reliable connection, I think I would still not miss it.

It's amazing how much more I get done when I only do a few checks per day on the net, with a very small time window for each. I've increased my productivity by nearly 300%! That will all change, tho, if SBC ever gets their butts up to my area...can't pass up 1.5/128 DSL for under $30/mo! Then it will be back to the old [online] habit(s)...

I know the feeling! Wish I could dump my DSL and get on with life...

however, I have alot of business commitments and require me to have DSL. So for now, I'm stuck.

But I agree, the productivity increase without internet is amazing!

I just wrote a paper about the possitive and negative effects on children Time waste was one of them. Oh well... Ill stay unproductive for a while.
