i have an inspirion 8500 w/ geforce fx 5650 128mg video

hello all, i have a dell inspiron i8500 2.0 gig, wsxga screen, 512mg mem with a geforce fx 5650 128mg card and the performance is great. i used the dell driver for the i8600 to get this card to work and also flashed the bios with A04, this version has bios support for the fx5650. i also installed a FanGUI control application from http//www.diefer.de/i8kfan/index.html. this has to be set to fans always on while playing games. adjusting the clock speed and using the FanGUI application should take care of any and all heat issues. this is my problem. i have to install a modified driver inf to get access to this window so i can do these clock speed adjustments. i heard about having to install the modded inf file into the directory and then install the modded driver. where do i find the driver and the modded inf. and second how do i install this? somebody mentioned detonator drivers. does anybody know how to do this and could somebody explain it to me. i would greatly appreciate it. steve

I would recommend looking at Omega Corner. They have premodded drivers there for the Nvidia and ATI cards for mobile computers. I used their ATI drivers for my I8200 and plan on installing them on my I8600 once I get the time.
