Medieval Total War problem

Hello all,

I've recently reinstalled my version of medieval total war, now heres my problem. When you are fighitng a battle and you want to move your troops from point A to point B a yellow, red, green square arrow thing appears indicating were the troops are going to move...my problem those arrows aren't there and I can't move my troops.

Do you have the latest version of Direct X?
Do you have the latest version of your Graphics Card Drivers?
Have you tried re-installing the game?

Yes i have to latest, and yes ive tried reinstalling plus its worked fine before im just wondering wether there are special triggers or soemthing

What I meant was not that its working now, but when i purchased the game and installed it, it worked great that time. Then once i uninstalled, reinstalled its bugged up. I set the controls to default but that didn't help???
