Which yields better gaming performance overall?

if money was no object, i think i would get one in agp, and the best pci one that i could find... then have a sweet setup with a bunch of monitors...

but if i just had to get one, i would have to say 9800 pro... only because my roommate has one and it is sweet. but they are both so far above me that i couldnt even fathom getting one....
you also may want to check out the geforce 4 mx 440... i have that card and it kicks ***.... o wait, i mean blows ***

The 5950 should be compared with the 9800 XT
The 5900 with the 9800 Pro

I'd personally pick either of the ATI's over any of the nVidia cards.

it doesn't really matter if nvidia has problems with hl2 if it never gets out. even if they do fix it you still wont be able to get free hl2 with nvidia cards

as ramon says you should have the 9800xt instead of the 9800 pro in your poll.

What's this problem with HL2? Does it really matter when the game isn't even released
HL2 is still a work in progress. If this problem is truely serious then nvidia has plenty of time to fix anything
