Will this UPS work?

I just got an APC 350VA Battery Backup for $5 after rebates. I have a 2.8Ghz overclocked to 3.2, and one hard drive. I also have dual Monitors, one 15" lcd, and a 17" crt. Will this be enough to power my computer while the power goes out. When the power goes out, it usually lasts no longer than 2-3 seconds. I also have a 500w power supply on my computer. is this safe?

I am not an expert, but no, I don't think so.maybe for the PC only, but I would go with at least a 650 and maybe plug one of those monitors into one of the 'surge only' protectors.

You can probably get about 15-30 seconds out of it, if all that's plugged in is the computer (no monitor, printer, etc.). Just long enough for it to signal a shutdown. That is if your cd-roms and hard drive aren't spinning up (they take a lot of juice.

Without knowing the rest of your specs (hard drives and pci cards etc) You're marginal at best right now. I'm a betting person and I would bet against it working under your current configuration.
I have a 700 APC and I had to put my two back up drives in removable drive packs to limit the current. That worked out better for me in the long run anyway as I use them for B/U and no sense in running them when I don't have to.
