morphing images

how can i take one image and make it slowly morph into another image? i could use an animated gif but how can i get the two images to "mix together" with different amounts of each image present in each frame?

not really like that, like the background stays the same and i make one face slowly morph into the other one.

All I do is, go to Image Ready (If ya use photoshop) and make a new frame then turn the opacity down on one layer and up on the other. Then keep doing that making new frames and adjusting the opasity each time as you go. If you dont understand what I mean ill try go into more detail

Morphing, as in having two or more images and then having them melt into the shape of the next image and then that one melt into the shape of the next image, etc.

i.e., Two pictures of the same person, one is when he is five years old, the other is when he is 20 years old. You morph the younger picture into the older one, and the way it morphs is that the 5 y.o. eyes turn into the 20 y.o. eyes, and the facial features turn into the same features but on the older picture.

I did this sort of thing for a picture of my dad when he was 4, and then when he was 40. It's amaxing the resemblence that is noticable when you morph something like that.

I'll have to dig around to find that pic, I saved it somewhere...

David

*Might be awhile though, it's only about 126KB, and I'll have to dig around 400GB... *

Dang, that's the long way...get your 2 frames, one head on each frame...just click the tween layers button (little chain link looking thing), make sure position/opacity is checked and do about 20 frames worth of tweening. It will transition very smoothly for ya...that's all there is to it!
