what are hits?

explain this to me. what are the differences between hits/visit and pages/visit?

what incurs a hit?

I have 27 pages/visit and 275 hits/visit

so what does that mean?

When ever someone accesses one of your pages each item of the page will generate a hit.
EG: Graphics, the page itself. If you have 3 graphics on your page you will get 4 hits.

Each time your page is accessed it is one visit per.

Cheers!

Hits?

Well... several things come to mind...

Baseball bat, fist, chair, bad pick-up line, being 'fresh', "I'd hit it!", battleship, song...

I think Beemer told you the kind of 'hit' you were referring to...
