For the Aim users

Trillian supports encryption on all of its media. I'm not really sure what it does, but I use it anyway.

Trillian Pro is a lot nicer and friendlier than the free version, you just have to pay for it. Personally, I find it easier mainly because I'm on AIM, MSN, and ICQ.

yah i played with the pro verisons, and i only know people on aim. so why bother with something costing

well u can always download the "AOL Instant Messenger" Skin for it and make it look like AIM

trillian has many other extras that aIM doesn't... plus, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the free/download version.

People just have different tastes. Heck, someone could be thinking, "I can't believe people would download a third party program! Why can't they be happy with what the company provides?!"
