Kids Questions on 865PE Neo2 Motherboard

Need some help here guy/gals. Purchased a new MB, MSI 865PE Neo2, but it has 2 features that I am not familiar with, so I'm not sure how they should be set.

This board is set-up to run Dual Channel DDR. I followed instructions to the best of my ability per the manual. On boot it tells me:
DUAL- CHANNEL, LINER MODE Is this correct for dual channel operation? Am I running in DUAL-CHANNEL? I'm not sure what the 'LINER MODE' means.

Also, in the BIOS it has a Performance tab. Under which it lists 4 choices. Never seeing this option and the manual doesn't even mention it, I am not sure on how to set it up. Options are:

SLOW (Default)
FAST
TURBO
ULTRA-TURBO

What exactly is it taking control of and which setting should I set it at? Currently I have it set at 'FAST'.

hey, mine shows up same way...have somewhat of what your talking about on tabs...left it at default "whatever the bios sets it at", ran it at high performance,,,very unstable system..

the dual channel deal, have heard seperate things also...heard you need a stick dble of what your running in the #3 slot or extra slot and put in slot 1 and 2 the ram you are currently running..

example on mine it would be..slot one 256, slot two 256 and in the third slot for dual...a stick of 512 of the same brand of ram..

anyone else have any ideas, would be appreciated....
