XP registry patch help please

I like to do black viper's "safe" config on my fresh xp home builds...not EXACTLY but pretty close.

Takes a good while for me to do it (Ive never been accused of being too fast).

I see on his site he has ways to make a .reg registry patch as opposed to manually taking the 30 minutes or whatever to do it every time.

But, I dont really follow his explanations of how to go about it.

Basically I just want to take a fresh build, do the configuration on the services, then make a registry patch that I can use to automatically do the configuration on all my fresh builds.

Am I making it out to be too hard?

Can someone help me out here..I am sure it is very simple.

Thanks, JP

Send a message via Yahoo to muno
All you need to do is download the 'SafeHome/ProAllstart.zip' from http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/registry.htm and doubleclick the regfile inside the zipfile.

This will apply all the registry settings.

Yes, you can get problems with the registrys. Well I normally fix it with Norton Systemwork program.
