Strange Kazaa Problems

i recently moved to a new apartment, and since i got my new cable modem and service, i have been unable to successfully download anything using kazaa lite. every time i click on a song to download it, no matter how many users have the file, my computer will not connect to anyone else
s. it goes through all of the users names, tries to connect, then moves on to the next users until there are no users left and then it says, "more sources needed."i wiped out all of my cookies, i uninstalled and reinstalled kazaa lite, i changed my ip, i did everything i could...my cable company says that it has nothing to do with them. i also have no firewalls. and this is the weirdest part...every once in a blue moon, my kazaa will connect to a random user and download part of a song, and so in this manner i can download one song over the course of several days if i leave my kazaa lite on all the time. does anyone know what the hell is going on here and what i can possibly do to fix this? thanks.

You're probably on the RIAA's "hitlist". The only way to fix it is to go out and buy the CD's/albums for all the songs you have on your HDD. You'll then need to e-mail the RIAA and tell them you downloaded songs but now own the CD's/albums.

Since the RIAA's website is probably being DDoS'd right now, I can't provide any links.

Could it be an interference during connection? Have you tried to send a message to others using Kazaa?
You would probably need to download the latest Kazaa or vice versa.

Out of all the possible reasons for a site to be down, you choose DDoS. Hey, it's not like millions of people don't feel they deserve it or anything, but still...

i tried sending messages to other users, but every time it said that the messages could not be delivered because the other user is either no longer online or not accepting messages.

After you un-install Kazaa go to C:\programs, and delete all Kazaa folders. and run a program called Ad-aware 6. you can dowload it here: http://download.com.com/3000-2094-10...ml?legacy=cnet

Delete all your cookies and re-install Kazaa lite. Specify a new username when prompted. Should be good to go!

Oh lordy! Lol!
First step: panic
Second step: hastily admit guilt

I would go one step further and suggest that you not just buy the albums, but pay the RIAA a reasonable sum for each song you have downloaded illegally. I think $100,000 a song should just about do it. Oh and how you'll sleep better at night!

lets see, $15,000 per "illegally downloaded " mp3
times 1000 mp3s = $15 million. send me a check
and i will not sue. Yours truly,
RIAA
=====================================
fortunately, kazaa lite includes RIAA blocking!
