First bit of photoshop

i feel quite proud of myself. this is the first "Real" image that i have made in photoshop. i know it just playing with layers and some filters. but what ya think any thing you think i can improve on?



i am doing a website form my college ict department. its like a sort of competition the winners site will actually be used by my department. also it is part of my course so i have some constaints. like on the image i will be using mapping to create the two links.

Not bad. I'm assuming you had to mask the items yourself? If so, you did a good job.
