Computer won't sleep

Something is waking my XP system.

My screen saver and monitor power save are not working properly because something is spontaneously waking my computer, even if I’m in the other room (and it ain’t my cat!).

Does anyone know what type of process might do this, or how I can detect what process is the culprit?

First place I'd start is "killing" whatever is running in the taskbar one by one and see if one of those could be the culprit.
