Windows M edia Encoder w/ ati card

Hey!


Im trying to download Windows Media Encoder 7.1 from site correctly. After d/l it says install complete start the encoder. Then theres a link to go to encoder. Do i need to make an encoder session in order to use the Ati tv Wonder Ve? I am in process of following steps off this site: http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/w...wonder-me.html before putting into pci.

I have tried both ways to finish install of 7.1 encoder. By creating a session and not creating. Im confused as what will finish this setup completely and properly?

There should be a file called 'wmencoder.exe' on your computer, or something similar. (I think it was called that back when I used it to make an asf (I was learning video encoding ))

This is not located on ym cpu the 'wmencoder.exe' as recommended..what is this used for?

wmencoder.exe is the gui for windows media encoder (it was when I used it).
