Outlook XP problem

I have a client that is on a DSL connection and 2 computers connected through a router. They have one email account but access it via both computers, sometimes simultaneously (they choose to leave there mail on the ISP's server so they can do this)

The problem is every once and a while one of the machine refuses to load outlook and send or receive mail. I am about to do a auto repair on outlook via the Office XP disc.

Can anyone tell me what could be causing this, and or any other solutions?

Paul

P.S All machines have been scanned for known viruses.

Oops, forgot to mention theyare using XP home.
