Someone with knowledge...

Okay, so if I go to start, then search (in Win XP) and type words in the "Containing text" portion, how do I then make it so that when I type in "j" it doesnt bring up "justin credible" or whatever else. Like it auto finishes my sentences. I dislike this feature.

ALSO, could someone tell me that if I had a keylogger, and searched in the above mentioned utility in Win Xp, for words I'd recently typed into the computer, does that tell you if you've got a keylogger.

PLUS (sorry so many questions) is a keylogger, easy to find? Or are they very well hidden? And what are keyloggers used for?

Thanks to all who help, and read

Keyloggers can range... some store info on the HDD but the ones that do normally encrypt the data in some format so i dobut that would work. They range in quality. Some are easy to spot in the task manager while others are hidden quite well. Also. The one called Keykatcher which I like dosnt even store anything on the computer. you plug it in between the keyboard and computer and it catches all the keys without touching the OS Very smooth. I dont know about your first question though.

search online for a program that roots out keyloggers
some keyloggers change their location making it hard to find them.
