yuk

I myself would use a conner before I would a deskstar.
on a scale of 10,I would give the 3 deskstars I once owned a low 7 and that's pushing it scale wise.

You have to have a drive bay big enogh. The 7200RPM Tavelstars need a 2.5 inch bay to work a lot of laptops only have the 1.8inch bay for HDDs. As for preformance... In Maxium PC Mags Gear of the Year awards it was top pick for Wildcard and was pegged with a 55% preformance increase over a 5400RPM Hitach Travelstar.

Man.. 7200 rpm HD in a lappie? I'm sure that increases performance to near desktop levels but what does that do to your battery life?

(It's safe to say you're hearing more than a bit of jealousy in my post - my crap-top still has a 4200 rpm HD in it.)

Oh They have catagories... Best CPU... Best Chipset... Best Mobo... Best Vidcard ect... They have one for stuff they normally dont review and because their focus is Desktop Computers it got the wildcard as there is no catagory for it
