Hi missile toe

Do you mean other than using a stats app like like 'awstsats', for example?

* Also, are you running the webserver or is your site hosted somewhere else?

Your web host should have logging enabled so it would be just a matter of going into your 'control panel' to view your logs. If their logging system doesn't fit your needs you can always check out HotScripts for more.

OK

In that case I would just head over to hotscripts and check out some of the CGI and PHP logging scripts they have listed. I can't recommend any one script but you might want to look into the one listed above.

hmm.. that looks pretty cool for a freebie, Droppyale. Do you use it?

Mntsnow hosts my professional site [The Designs Work] and is using Awstats, which I really like.

6foot4 - truth be known I peeked and saw | you said in another thread | is how I know about "missile toe"

Your site is coming along nicely. Hi, Missile Toe! *waves* LOL!

I've used it, and it was great, many designers use it actually.

The referrer is simple an environment variable. It would be simple to write a PHP or CGI script that loads at the top of your main page and simply logs the referrer (and any ofther information you want) to a file.

Let me know if you want or need help doing this. Also if you want CGI (Perl) or PHP.

If this is apache you can also change the format of your logfile to include referrer.
