only have a vague idea of what I'm going to write so I'm asking the forum experts to let me know what I should consider writing about.

Currently in no particular order I have decided I am going to write about the following:


Resizing the video

Remastering the audio track (normalizing, dynamic compression, etc.)

Recompressing the video to various formats, including: MPEG-1 (VCD format), MPEG-2 (SVCD/CVD/DVD format), MPEG-4 (DivX, XviD)

Recompressing the audio to various formats, including: MP3, OGG, AC3

Other things I am considering:

subtitle creation in VCD/SVCDs

quantizer matrix (this is rather complex)

VCD header on SVCDs for compatibility

Throw in any broad suggestions or even specific details!!!!
