My 3d Mark 03 score
I was wondering if my score was good, I just got a Built by ATI Radeon 9800. Here are my specs.
DFI LanParty NF II Ultra
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (at 166mhz)
Radeon 9800
512mb PC3200 2x 256mb PC2100(? Not exactly sure of speed)
My 3dmark 03 score was 4559. Is this good? Also, I idle at about 40 C can I overclock to 3200+ speeds without killing it?

I'm getting 4874 with
EPOX 8RDA+ (nforce2)
AMD Athlon XP2500+
Radeon 9800 np
512mb PC2700 DDR (1x512mb)
I'd say it probably just needs a little tweaking.

Ok, so it's not that bad. WHat about me overclocking to 3200 (BTW is that 200mhz) is that unsafe for my current temps?

Don't forget when you Benchmark, you should restart your computer before benchmarking, to clear everything in the task manager, ram, everything. I have only one suggestion, you should try running the ram in sychronous mode, since you have the NForce2

Can you explain what sychornous mode is? Will this help out my speed?

Synchrones mode is something that nForce's are capable of. Your ram must be exactly the same but yes it can help out a bit. Amagine it as RAID 0 for your ram.
I thought it was enabled automaticly when it was detected as possible, but I never payed much notice to it. It should be an option in your bios. Take a look at it and it should be pretty obiouse which setting it is.
For other tweaks check out Rage3d Tweak here for your radeon and also check http://www.tweak3d.net for some general tweak guides.

Would also like to note that www.blackviper.com has the best, most comprehensive listing of every service in Windows 200/XP that I have ever seen. If you go through an disable all the serrvices you don't need (like 5 MB of your ram being used for a Infrared Device!?) you can free up almost 40MB of RAM.
Very useful...
