Is there a way to change a XP Pro activation key?

I installed XP Pro with a Key that I've already used. I now have another valid key but I don't know how to change it so I can register.

Is this possible?

you can also just run "sysprep"

Its in the support/tools folder on the xp cd in the "deploy" cab file.
check here http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tre...c_cai_vnve.asp

Basically you will just run sysprep..which will shut down the comp when its thru..then when you reboot it will be like you just bought a new Dell or whatever, it will give you the little welcome screen etc and you will enter your product key, name, region etc.

As the article says, it will only run 3 times on the same install...so its not a way to just endlessly reset the activation period, lol.

Scroll down to "running sysprep" for the actual nitty gritty instructions.
