Thinkpad and Linux anyone?

I'm running Mandrake 9.2 on my Thinkpad T22 and it runs fine. I was thinking about trying some other distros and wondered if anyone else is running or has run other distros beside Mandrake. If so did you have any problems setting it up ie sound cards, graphic cards, cd/dvd drives, usb devices and anything else that needed special attention?

Most things will work. You may need to recompile the kernel, but if it works in mandrake, it will work in any other. Just make a note of the drivers used.
