ATI TV Wonder

Hello

Ok, where should I start? I was told by someone that I needed ATI TV Wonder (or something like it) to accomplish what I was trying to do. However, I'm extremely new to this, and I don't know where to begin. Basically, I'm trying to encod videos with ATI TV Wonder so that they can be streamed as Real Player videos, as shown here. I was told by the site owner that he used ATI TV Wonder and Power DVD to do this. I visited the ATI TV Wonder site, and they offer countless numbers of products. I don't know which one to look into! As far as the DVD I'm assuming PowerDVD is simply a DVD player? I'm completely lost! I need one fact that I can build off of. If someone can be kind enough to offer some assistance it would be appreciated!

Thanks
-Bonnie

Ah you are recording tv or form cam then I take it? Yes you need a video input device like tv wonder. The Tv wonder is stereo sound-the VE (value Edition) is monoral. The VE is fine in most case but for music and such the stereo Tv wonder would be better. So for music video's persay-ATI TV WONDER. To record in realplayer format just install real player. Go into ati tv setup-go to vcr tab. Set the "codec" to the realplayer's codec and thats it. When you record in ati tv prog it will capture into that format. I also believe realplayer can capture live from your tv. Check www.vcdhelp.com cause they have a guide for real player capture-thats where I saw it at. It will cover what you want to do completely. I will warn ya though-realplayer codec is very poor and the videos are pretty bad. Window's media player codec is TONS better for online use. If for personal use Id recomend useing DIVX if your pc can handle it. By setting the bitrate lower a Divx file at same size as real player is much better quality andyou will be able to adjust sound and video capture bit rates (quality)to what you want.
