Food computer freezes

Hi everybody,

Changed multiplier of Athlon XP 1800+ on a epox m/b. Athlon wasn't unlocked, so my computer freezed. I did a clear CMOS
via jumper, tried to restart, but nothing happened. I repeated
this several times but nothing, not even a beep. Power on button
works, all fans are turning (case+cpu cooler). I suppose that
my m/b is still working as fans are turning. Is it possible that my
cpu / memory crashed ?

Thx and rgds

try unplugging your machine, pull the battery, wait 30 real seconds (look at a clock) then reconnect all. Have found on occasion that jumper-ing has no effect
