Systems M790MR motherboard

I recently purchased a M790MR motherboard online.
I've just one problem with. I'm not able to find the right driver to make the USB ports work or the board has a malfunction. How may i test if something is broken on the board ?
The installed OS is Win2k Server.
If any of you could help me out by offering any sort of information that would be much appreciated.

Yes they are enable in bios. I tryed it out with 1 and 2, then with 2 and 3, it's alway the same message after the device is detected when i plug an USB device (i've a french version OS, and the translation looks like ...) "An error occurs during the installation of the device.
The installation was aborted because a function driver was not specified for that device instance" (take a look to the snap shot I've taken)
I think I'll try to put a PCI/USB card in my computer. So I'll see if a obtain a better result.

Interesting. Language barrier with a driver?
I would disable usb in the bios and add a usb card to see how an add-on card reacts....

It says "no suitable driver found for this peripheral device". So it's not a USB controller problem, it's a driver problem for the DEVICE you're trying to plug.

This also happens when you wired the USB ports up the wrong way. Like when connecting case front USB to the board's headers.

Hey did you try:
1) reset the cmos?
2) reinstall windows?
3) check the usb connections if you wired it to front usb ports or a usb bracket
thanks, paul

Like Peter M said, it's looking for the drivers for the *DEVICE* hooked to the USB header, not drivers for the Universal Serial BUS. And, by the way, if I recall correctly, 99 times out of 100 you're supposed to install the USB device drivers *BEFORE* you hook the device up to the computer.
