hello everyone hope everyone had a good thanksgiving i'm going to try to build my own p4 2.8 ghz with corsair 512 p3200 mem.ati radeon 9600 lite on and maxtor but i don't know which mobo to use--azus p4p800 deluxe or intel d865 perlk both at the same price thanks for any input merv

Iwould check out this paragraph here http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mai...-p4p800_7.html if the intel cant do 'PAT' which I doubt it can, the asus is clear winner.

They are referring to the "PAT" which allows 865 boards to basically run like 875 boards.

I just built a computer with an Asus p4p800 2 weeks ago, and my friend bulit one with the same mobo a few days ago. Couldnt be happier so far.
