Getting parts from a 3rd party (other than IBM)
is there anywhere where I can get laptop parts from other than ordering them from IBM? I have an IBM thinkpad t23 and i am thinking the mb is gone and i refuse to give my arms and legs to IBM is there ANYWHERE where i can order them from?

Have you ever tried Ebay? I just went there and typed in your laptop...'came up with quite a bit...

What exactly are you looking for?

Sorry bout that..I see now that you said you might need a new motherboard.

If I were you, I would first find out what the part number is...then do an ebay search...if nothing there...try a google search.
