klez.h beats up AVG

ive posted this on anandtech and
elsewhere but I <3 Techimo and wanna
spread the word here:

a friends cmptr had AVG up and running. AVG issued a warning it just got a
virus worm or whatever u callit: klez.h. 171 files infected.
repeated scans with AVG could not remove kelz.h.
WaRnInG = AVG does not block , and cannot remove, klez.h
klez.h is listed by CA as the #2 most popular virus going around now

It says at grisoft site that the virus can only be removed in safe mode. So does symantec site say.

on my original thread at anandtech, someone else confirm that klez got past AVG on them, so im not the only one. see

Its dependant on many things. Including: Updates, whether it is active, whether you scan your OE store directory before looking at emails, whether you use the plugin for OE. I've had Klez stopped many a time on the windoze box.
You get what you pay for. You don't honestly expect a fully featured, all-knowing-all-seeing virus scanner for free. Either buy the pro version or get a good one like AVP.
