msn messenger question

my current msn is full os spam and I wan't to change my account. Now I got an email account through my isp and was wondering if I use this what is the possibility of spam, it is only used for my friends.

since we are on the subject. I got my friends on msn and my family on icq is there a program that I can use that takes these 2 programs and makes it into 1, meaning I only open up this one program and can talk to my friends on msn and to my family on icq without opening up the 2 instant messengers.

1. If you only use your 2nd account for your friends, and don't sign up to anything, you will get no spam, never advertise your e-mail address on forums like these either, people will pick them up and use it for spamming.

2. I think you will be interested in a program called Trillian, basically you can log in, and it will use all of your accounts (yahoo, msn, icq, even mIRC) into one. So you can chat simultaneously through one proggie.
