External USB drive with 2 Drives attached?

HEy guys, i got a question, i got a 120 gig seagate on my xternal USB2.0 case i bought for it, now i wonder if i just get a IDE cable with a secondary slave on it and plug that into the xternal box, would the computer pick up 2 drives? Or can the external drive not handle 2 drives?

TIA

Yote

hey, depends on the drivers i suppose. all the usb is, is an extention of your IDE. if you could MOD your drivers it might work.
