its a lexmark Z23. it has a green slot and a darker slot. we just put a color cartridge in the first green one. and we always had black when we put it in there.
also i have a problem with my scanner. i can seem to get the computer to find it. and the software for it ..id unno does work. its a Vantas 3000. (if you havent been reading my other posts) we had to reinstall the factory settings..so that meant we had to install the scanner and printer.. i installed the printer just fine. but now i cant get the scanner to work or be detected. i just dont know what to do, ive uninstalled it..installed and what not. it comes up as ScanModuel V1.5 or something like that but the manual we got says ScanMaker Scanner. HELP
It's very hard to understand what the problem with the printer is. Please try to be more specific. And is the scanner a USB or parallel port model? Read the ACTUAL model number from the back of the scanner and report back ASAP with the clarifications and info.
