No video/no sound!

Hey all! Yes, I am a total noob! I just got an awesome pc and started dl movies and such off kazza & now I am trying ares. From my kazza files most of the stuff I get will play just fine but most of the movies that I dl I am getting nothing! Nothing at all. Same goes for Ares but in that case, nothing will play at all.

I have dl codec after codec and I just cannot figure out what is wrong.

Can anyone help please?

There is a lot of garbage out there on Kazaa. I have downloaded a few things as well and kept getting the same thing all with no sound. It's like trading around a bad cold.All said missing codec.It is probably the corrupted file you are getting.

Some people simply put out fake files, lots of A-holes on kazaa
General rule of thumb is just look at the length of the movie (often times its like 5-10 minutes shorter b/c they cut the credits out). But if its way off its a good guideline.
