Mac gaming is both A) nonexistant and B) a waste of time. But if you somehow manage to deal with the lame-ness that is Apple k0mp00ter, try the space-shooter called something like EV Nova. Google it, I think somewhere out their you can get either a free version or a demo.

But the question is...can you play a game with 4FPS???

Well you guys must be uneducated or just not very knowledgable in the Mac area because yes Mac gaming does exist. The games that are released for Windows come out later on Mac. I doubt google will help much since Yahoo! is better anyway. Ive dowloaded the Ghost Recon demo and thats fine for now but it wont last for very long. And yes Ive seen EV Nova and it doesnt seem to be that fun or entertaining. But thinks for your help anyway.

How can something be nonexistent and a waste of time? If it doesnt exist then you cant waste your time on it.

Uh....how bout this for an explanation: If it did exist, it would be a waste of time.

Maybe I should just reword my post...

Depending on the specs of your Mac, they have a Unreal Tournament (GOTY edition) download available. I ran it on my 9500/200, but it wasnt pleasant since it was an older machine.

Yeah, mac gaming exists!
Here are some links:
www.macgamefiles.com
www.macaddict.com
www.macworld.com
search google for more..
They are adapting to the Mac format now because its based of linux, so porting should not be as hard as of the original mac os.
For example, in macgamefiles.com they have America's Army ported for the mac... Mac gaming is developing...

Well CubKid I tried Unreal Tournament and it was the slowest game Ive ever played in my life. I dont think it was my mac because it was the first thing I downloaded onto it. And its a brand new iBook.

Also I know about Americas Army, but I just have a question. Is it only online play or can you do offline play as well? I ask because I dont have a modem for my Mac yet, I just hooked my parents modem to it for a while, and I want a game thats for offline play. And Ive been to all of those sites except macworld.

Thats odd. It should run pretty good being its a new iBook. Have you toyed around with the display settings of the game to see if it'll run any better?
