Modified Compaq Presario 7594
564Mhz Celeron
96MB of RAM
52x24x52 CD-RW
12x DVD
Intel 82810E Graphics Controller
PCTel Platium V.90 Modem
Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC
10GB Compaq Harddrive
I got this System for free from someone who upgraded. i was thinking of upgrading the RAM to 256MB ,the Harddrive to 80GB. Do you think i should???

upgrading the ram to 256 would be a great upgrade...96 is just not enough.
80g hard drive would just depend on what all you need to store...but it wont make any speed difference.

the possibility exists that you could take an adapter like
this one
and use a faster celeron. If youre motherboard can do 100 fsb then you could put like a 1g celly or P3 on it.

Just do RAM and maybe hard drive. Get too involved, you might as well get a new compuer!
