Kids DirectX / Direct Draw Question

I'm setting up a system for someone who will be using Pinnacle Studio DV 8 software. It's specs say it requires DirectX support.

The video card he wants to use supports Direct Draw but doesn't say anything about DirectX.

Will there be a problem?

DirectX is part of Windows, so, as long as you have the appropriate version of DirectX installed, you should be fine. I doubt that hardware support from your graphics card is necessary, but nearly all have some level of it.

What is the card?

The card is SIS315/64 based, from ECS or PC Chips.

Send a message via Yahoo to muno
