Envision 910e issues (new here)

Hey guys, new here.
I just purchased a envision 910e 19 (18in view.) recently.
I have two issues with it. When it switches from dark to light (vice versa) it causes the monitor to slightly shrink and re-expand. What is causing this and is there any way I can fix this?

Issues two: The monitor picture does not seem to align itself with the physical part of the monitor borders. This does not bother me as much as issue one.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Techimo.com!
First, did you check if there is any megnetic interference around the monitor? eg, Forcelent Lights, Subwoofers, etc (excuse my spelling )
Did you check if the monitor is properly connected to a grounded plug or is the surge protector working properly?
Thanks, Paul

Hmm, I moved the subwoofer and the speakers and turned them off, but it doesn't seem to work. Still get that same problem. But thanks for that tip.

#2 can be solved by using the monitor control butons to move it around..

I seem to remember reading about this in a monitor comparison review. The change in size of the picture is due to poor power regulation in the monitor. So all down to design and nothing can be done about it,(unless you're very good at electrical engineering :-( )

What video card are you using and have you downloaded Envision's .inf monitor files? In display properties is the 910e listed?

well thanks baz.
Ill probably get a new monitor sometime early next year, and hand this one off to my sister.

I use nvidia geforce 4 ti4200 128mb. I used the drivers from the site and the drivers from windows xp, but they seem to have the same problems.

I'm using the same monitor and have been for well over a year and no problems that weren't vid card related. It's warrantied for 3 years so I would contact their tech support and see if they can offer a resloution or an RMA.
