you'd have to get a 4x agp card because that mobo only goes up to 4x agp. that will hinder your performance. i saw like 2 or three different versions of the fx5200, one is 8x 64mb, another is 128mb 8x and the last was 256mb 8x so i assume you aren't looking to get the 256mb one so that leaves the 128mb (which i would recommend) and the 64mb one. but then again, they are 8x agp. you'd be wasting your money paying for an 8x card when you can only use it at 4x.

just my opinion,

it doesn't matter if they are 8x or 4x. they are backwards compatable to 4X and besides.......all of the new cards these days are 8x so ur not paying more $$$ for an 8x. as far as i know.....there aren't any 4x fx5200s.

also....im playing call of duty with my asus fx5200 and it works great at 1024x768 with medium settings for character and enviromental details. also......i just got NFS underground too and it also works great at 1024x768. i donno why people bash these cards around, they are really good cards for their price IMO.

IMO, I don't think you could run CoD on max details maintaing 30+ FPS on a 5200 Ultra on your system. Because you're limited on a 2.4 GHz Celeron as well as 256 megs of ram and to top it off, chances are you won't be able to maintain that 30 FPS. There could be a possibility of it if you have it on 640x480 resolution. Usually, people correlate Max Details as maxing their video card with AA and AF, like what I do in CoD, I can't play CoD very long before I get motion sickness, but it's a great game

you will not be able to run it at max detail at playable framerates... i.e. 25+ fps.

Send a message via AIM to 311Sam Send a message via Yahoo to 311Sam
Also you may want to look into an ati 9500

It will burn that nvidia 5200 to no end
