XP pro home network password question

I have three computers on a 100 mb switch. All three have xp pro. I have all of the computers set to log in with the a user and no password. I would like to be able to access each computer across the lan without using a password. When I try and do it now the client asks for a password. I thought that I read that there is a way around this. I do have the guest account enabled but still asks for a password.

Any help is appreciated

I hope you don't have these PC's accessable at all to the internet with that configuration.

Are all of these PC's in the same WORKGROUP? Do all of them have the same user's ?

How do you have your shares setup? File system, NTFS or FAT?

CAT...

(1) Each user needs to be the same on each machine. (The account "CAT" must exist on each computer, with the same or no password)

(2) You will probably want to disable 'simple file sharing' to let users 'authenticate as themselves'. You can do this by:
In WindowsExplorer, choose the menu: Tools -> Folder options... -> View (tab), and then at the very bottom uncheck [ ] Use Simple File Sharing

(3) Alternately, you can give all the computers the same password, and it could be a workaround for the issue.
