Systems pixel problem!!!!

i just bought a new dell
1gb ram 2.6 ghz and a 256mb radeon 9800 xt

i recently started to see these messed up pixels in the background when i play cs or jedi knight. They also apeer when i load up my ati screen saver. The pixles are blinking/flashing in the background and its driving me crazy. Plz HElp ME!

Have you tried updrading the drivers? The latest Catalyst drivers are here

Welcome to the forum!

I have no clue about the pixels, but try new drivers or check out some faqs abou the game and see if it has known issues or patches released.

If worse comes to worse, pretend they are bulletholes!!

when i go to the ati site for a driver i click

windows xp

then it shows "graphic driver"

then it gives me the option for
radeon family, rage 128 pro family, rage 128 family, and rage pro family

i dont know what to click on 4 my card.
radeon 9800 256mb xt??

do u think that it might be that i need to udate something for windows xp?
